-
Eliza stepped into the role of owner and director of Genesee Dance Theatre in summer 2026, bringing a fresh vision grounded in deep respect for technique and a commitment to accessible, high-quality training.
Under Eliza’s direction, the school’s curriculum has been reviewed and refined to ensure dancers are being given advanced pre-professional training.
Eliza is equally committed to the company’s performance life. Season programming reflects her goal to present technically polished work that highlights student growth and engages the Perry community. She has introduced streamlined rehearsal practices giving students meaningful stage experience while maintaining high production values.
Operational improvements under Eliza’s guidance focus on long-term sustainability: clearer communication systems for families, professional development for faculty, and thoughtful facility maintenance to support safe, fun, and inspired training.
