Pricing is based on the number of classes in the full season — 30 weeks of instruction for most levels.
Theatre classes are billed in 7-week sessions.
Monthly installments are the same each month regardless of the number of classes in that particular month.
Scheduled holiday closures are factored into tuition rates. We do not pro-rate for absences or holiday

At Genesee Dance, the community dances with us. A small pool of patrons contribute funding each season to help dancers fulfill their dreams. Partial scholarships are awarded bases on availability of funds, dancer potential and commitment, and family need.
Policies & Procedures
Genesee Dance Theatre accepts payment in the form of cash, check, ACH bank transfer, debit and credit cards. We now also accept Amazon Pay, CashApp, Link, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Clients enrolled in the monthly installment plan are required to keep a credit card or debit card on file with us. This card will be billed the 1st of each month unless payment through another method is received in advance.
If your card is declined, a second attempt will be made in 48 hours. After the second attempt, we will contact you for an alternate form of payment. A $10 late fee will be added to your balance for every week tuition remains past due. Students with accounts more than 30 days overdue will not be permitted to attend class unless an arrangement is made with the office.
Genesee Dance Theatre operates on a strict no cash refund policy.
Deposits are “refunded” as account credits — either to your full balance (if paying for the full year in September) or to your final monthly installment in May. Students who do not complete the full season will not receive the deposit credit.
Are there additional performance fees?
For students who join by October 1st, there is no added performance or costume fee. This is because the cost of the costume is “baked in” to our total annual tuition fee. For students joining after October 1st, there will be a small costume fee of $25 - $50 (depending on join date) to make up the difference.
Each dancer receives 1 complimentary ticket to the spring performance. Other tickets must be purchased for an additional cost. Nutcracker tickets are not included.
